Kushi Review: Unlimited Premium Sashimi Buffet in Singapore. Is It Worth It?
Kushi Japanese Dining
We checked out this All-you-can-eat Japanese buffet at one of SG’s oldest authentic Japanese spots since 2008!! This buffet had unlimited premium air flown fresh sashimi, crispy tempuras and more... So, was it worth it?
What We Ordered
Fresh Sashimi Selection ⭐ 9/10⭐ 9/10

The sashimi was fresh with that creamy, melt-in-your-mouth texture you want. There's a good umami depth and subtle sweetness that suggests they're getting good quality fish. For a buffet setting, this exceeded my expectations and is probably one of the stronger reasons to visit
Mixed Tempura ⭐ 7.5/10⭐ 7.5/10

Crispy and fried properly without being greasy. The vegetable tempura had a nice sweet flavour, while the prawn tempura maintained a good snap. Nothing too exceptional, but executed well enough that we were happy to order more.
Yakitori Selection ⭐ 8/10⭐ 8/10
The grilled meats were juicy with proper char and that smoky taste you want from yakitori. The bacon-wrapped cheese version was my favourite, with the saltiness balancing nicely with the creamy cheese...
The grilled squid was cooked well too, staying tender instead of turning chewy.
Salmon Mayo Maki ⭐ 7/10⭐ 7/10
Decent sushi rolls that are quite filling. The salmon mayo combination works, though it's fairly standard. Good to try but not something I'd reorder twice.
Complimentary Ice Cream ⭐ 6.5/10⭐ 6.5/10
They offer double chocolate, matcha green tea, and classic coconut flavours. A nice way to end a huge hearty meal
Buffet Price

There were so many other menu items we didnt get to try as we were too full. But for the quality and huge variety of dishes the buffet provides, i would say that it being under $60 (before GST) is really reasonable :)
P.S. They also have affordable lunch sets under $12!
Overall Thoughts
This spot is definitely worth a visit if you're a big eater and are into fresh sashimi. The 90-minute lunch timing feels adequate, and the food quality is consistent enough to justify the price point.
Would I return? Yes! If... im feeling particularly hungry :p
