Keyaki

If you're looking for refined Japanese omakase in Singapore without the usual exorbitant prices, this is the spot for you!! The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and makes you feel like you've been transported to Japan.

What We Ordered

Kobachi: 4 Different Appetizer Platter ⭐ 8/10

The meal starts with four distinct appetizers: braised eggplant and daikon, duck salad, fried salmon sashimi spring roll, and mochi tofu. The variety was impressive, with each piece offering different textures and flavours. The mochi tofu was my favourite as it was so unique and delicious.

Sashimi: Premium Fresh Sashimi Platter ⭐ 9/10

This was the standout course. The sashimi was fresh with that creamy, melt in your mouth texture you want from premium fish. The selection felt generous for an $88 omakase, and the quality matched what you'd expect from a high end Japanese restaurant.

Yakimono: (Choice of Prawns or Cod) 💰 Included · ⭐ 9/10

Definitely go with the miso cod. It was perfectly tender and charred. The miso glaze was balanced and not overly sweet. I would skip the prawns as they were flavourful but slightly too mushy for my liking.

Nimono: (Choice of Pork Cutlet or Beef) ⭐ 7/10

These were good but nothing too special. Can choose either options based on which kind of meat you prefer.

Teppanyaki: (Choice of Beef or Scallop) ⭐ 9/10

These were so good! The beef was perfectly tender and melted with each bite, and the scallops were huge, fresh and snappy! Personally I preferred the beef slightly more as it had a smokier flavour.

Shokuji: (Choice of Beef Fried Rice or Soft Shell Crab Sushi) ⭐ 8/10

IMAGE 2026 03 18 09:23:04

The soft shell crab sushi was the more interesting choice here. While both options tasted good, the sushi offered something more unique than typical fried rice.

Dessert: (Choice of Goma Ice Cream or Matcha Mizu) ⭐ 8/10

IMAGE 2026 03 18 09:23:03

Both desserts were well made, but the matcha mizu felt more special. The goma ice cream was thick and creamy, but the matcha option offered something you don't see everywhere. A nice way to end the meal.

Menu

IMAGE 2026 03 18 09:22:58 Some sections have more choices than the ones i featured above!

P.S. You can get this omakase set at $88 NETT with no extra GST or SVC charges only when you book through hungryhub! Other bookings made elsewhere would have additional costs incurred 😔

Overall Thoughts

Keyaki delivers a proper omakase experience in a beautiful setting, and the $88 nett price point through HungryHub makes it genuinely good value for this level of Japanese cuisine. Having multiple choices to pick throughout the meal was a nice touch as well which I appreciated.

Would I return? Maybe, if they change up the menu as I would prefer trying out new items!
