Mud Crabs with Chilli Crab Sauce ⭐ 8/10⭐ 8/10

Meaty and fresh crab served with a savoury, tangy chilli crab sauce. The mantous were a nice touch for soaking up the sauce. This felt like getting good quality chilli crab from a tze char store 😂

Beef Short Ribs ⭐ 9/10⭐ 9/10

This was SO GOOD! Absolutely juicy and well-seasoned. The meat was tender and had good flavour. I went back to take so many plates of this as i just could not get enough of the amazing flavour.

Lobsters ⭐ 8.5/10⭐ 8.5/10

Fresh and juicy with a good snap to the meat. These were cooked well and didn't feel rubbery which is how u tell it's fresh :)

Snow Crab ⭐ 8/10⭐ 8/10

Sweet and juicy crab meat that was (relatively) easy to extract from the shells! Super value aspect of this buffet~

Fresh Oysters ⭐ 7.5/10⭐ 7.5/10

These were grilled oysters that were so juicy! Though not the largest oysters I've had it's still decent since it's unlimited portions hehe

Indian Food ⭐ 7.5/10⭐ 7.5/10

The Indian section was extensive and they also came with naan and rotis. The butter chicken was creamy, tangy, and indulgent as butter chicken should be and went well with the naan! The Gobi 65 was crispy and fresh as well which i enjoyed.

Roast Pork ⭐ 7.5/10⭐ 7.5/10

The roast pork had crispy skin and had a good flavour. This was a good addition to the Chinese section, though nothing too mind blowing.

Salmon ⭐ 8/10⭐ 8/10

Salmon was really tender, and didn't have a fishy taste which was a huge plus point!

Pizzas ⭐ 7/10⭐ 7/10

There were fresh and hot pizzas as well, though limited variations of pizzas, each slice was well executed and delicious.

Live Pasta Station ⭐ 7.5/10⭐ 7.5/10

The pastas are all cooked upon order, which was a nice touch as you get a fresh hot plate each time. You get to choose your pasta sauce and type of pasta as well which makes it customisable and even more enjoyable.

Live Laksa Station ⭐ 7/10⭐ 7/10

Fresh and creamy bowl of laksa, but nothing too special. I would skip this to save stomach space for the lobsters or roast meats :p

Dessert Selection ⭐ 8.5/10⭐ 8.5/10

The chocolate fountain was delicious and you could pair it with your desserts, ice creams or even marshmallows provided! There was also a good variety of pastries, bread pudding, and traditional kuehs.

Overall Thoughts

There were so many more dishes that I didn't manage to capture such as hokkien mee, satays, cantonese style sea bass and more...

We paid $112/pax for this buffet. It's definitely pricey but the seafood quality justifies the high price point, and the variety ensures there's something for everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and definitely got my money's worth from the amount of lobsters, crabs and seafood i took :p

For seafood lovers willing to splurge, this buffet offers good value given the premium ingredients :)

Would I return? Yes, but maybe in the far future when i have the budget again...
